Currently performing on MSC Bellissima, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Virtuosa and MSC Meraviglia, the shows take place six nights per week, only at the Carousel Lounge, an intimate, state-of-the art venue. And that’s not all: taste our Signature cocktail with a pre-show followed by this unique experience.

MSC Cruises’ new production brand, Carousel Productions at Sea, offers seven new, exclusive shows combining awe-inspiring acrobatics, dance, and music, all to create a multi-sensory entertainment experience with light, sound and dazzling acrobatic performances. Available exclusively on MSC Meraviglia Class ships, shows are performed in the Carousel Lounge, a glamorous and modern technology-packed venue designed specifically to meet the needs of Carousel Productions at Sea. This custom-built lounge covers 1.000 sq.m. and can accommodate up to 400 guests.

AJERDEZ

Inspired by the game of chess, this rock musical spectacular features a duel between two queens, as they fall in love with the same king and battle each other to win his heart. Throughout the story, the various characters of the chess board from bishops to knights will come to life, embodied by life-size statues, fighting it out to the sound of a ticking chess clock.

Follow an emotional journey through magical worlds filled with characters, acrobats and dancers. As the main character MYüT ventures out in search of help to regain his voice, he is brought to a vibrant world full of colours and flowers, sending him to a dreamlike state. He evolves through changing landscapes each one awakening different emotions and touching his senses.

The only difference is our guitar solos, and knee slides will take place in mid air as our talented team of performers fly, spin and leap through the greatest hits of AC/DC,
Guns & Roses and many more of the anthems from Rocks Royalty!

Pricing & conditions:

  • Prepaid price €10 / $12, on board price €15 / $18 for a ticket including pre-show entertainment with a speciality cocktail (30 minutes before the start of the performance) and the 40 minute show.
  • Cancellations are allowed 24 hours before the booked event.
  • Drink packages are not accepted during Carousel Productions at Sea shows. It is not allowed to bring drinks in the Carousel Lounge.
  • Carousel Productions at Sea doors will close 20 minutes after opening time. No admittance after the show starts.
