\u00a0<\/span>Geneva, Switzerland, 12 November 2025\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u2013 MSC Cruises and Chantiers de l\u2019Atlantique today announced a major extension of their long-standing relationship with orders for two additional World Class ships \u2013 numbers 7 and 8 \u2013 due to be delivered in 2030 and 2031.<\/p>\n The announcement was made at a double celebration event to mark important maritime milestones for two other World Class ships currently under construction at Chantiers de l\u2019Atlantique\u2019s shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, the float out of\u00a0MSC World Asia<\/span>\u00a0and coin ceremony of\u00a0MSC World Atlantic<\/span>.<\/p>\n Valued at \u20ac3.5 billion, the orders announced today bring MSC Cruises\u2019 total investment in the four ships ordered in France this year to nearly \u20ac7 billion. Together with the World Class vessels already under construction, this brings the company\u2019s total direct investment currently committed in France to \u20ac10.5 billion. A seasoned cruise industry executive, she is instrumental in advancing MSC Cruises\u2019 strategic growth across the North American market.<\/span><\/p>\n From Chantiers de L\u2019Atlantique, the Godmother was Agn\u00e8s\u00a0Sahores,\u00a0Smart Yard Improvement Manager, who has been working at the\u00a0Chantiers\u00a0de\u00a0l\u2019Atlantique\u00a0for 25 years.
