MSC Cruises celebrates three special artists on board MSC Virtuosa<\/a>: Jim Dine, Michael Craig-Martin, and Emilie Arnoux. These artists challenge viewers to explore the intersection of the personal, conceptual, and everyday by incorporating ordinary items into their art, transforming the mundane into subjects of interest.<\/p>\n

Experience the artwork, Street 2023, by renowned British artist Julian Opie in l\u2019Atelier du Voyageur bar. The artwork, commissioned specifically for\u00a0MSC Euribia<\/a>, is an expansive 11 x 2 m purpose-built LED screen featuring walking figures in Opie\u2019s distinctive style.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverywhere I go the streets are flowing with endless strangers, an ever changing but constant stream. Sometimes they seem like coloured shadows, reflections or even the same figures used repeatedly. There are brief moments though when each passing person is a brilliant universe.<\/em>\u201d Julian Opie<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

\u00a0<\/strong>MSC Cruises is honored to host on board\u00a0MSC Grandiosa<\/a>\u00a0The Virtues by Damien Hirst, one of the most famous artists of the 21st century.<\/p>\n

The Virtues is a set of eight limited edition prints, each one titles after one of Bushid\u014d. According to Nitobe Inaz\u014d, author of\u00a0Bushid\u014d. The Soul of Japan<\/em>, the eight virtues are\u00a0Justice<\/em>,\u00a0Courage<\/em>,\u00a0Mercy<\/em>,\u00a0Politeness<\/em>,\u00a0Honesty<\/em>,\u00a0Honour<\/em>,\u00a0Loyalty<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Control<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For the first time ever, MSC is proud to host on board of MSC Virtuosa 11 unique Artworks of Pop Art artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, two of the most influential figures of the Pop Art movement of the 1960s. The exhibition also includes a captivating experience for guests with four videos presenting the work and life of the two artists.<\/p>\n

Discover the artistic movement that most marked the second half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n
